Ordered up a 12" 300 Blackout barrel for my brother from ATR today, and bought myself 11 boxes of loaded hornady 300 Whisper at the same time. This hobby is getting pricey.....and I really don't mind :)

I think the same way, i hate spending over 200 on food and crap. But I will have no prod dropping half a g on ammo lol

Is this wrong:confused: So far CGN got me revved up about shooting pistol again, which led to quitting smoking so I could spend the money on ammo; now I'm signed up for Level 3 first aid, and after that the Construction Safety Officer's course, first pay raise going to an SKS. Maybe a CZ 858 w/magwell adapter. I've never owned a .223 bolt gun...

It never ends......I have two Vltor mono recievers inbound as well for a set of matched rifles for me and the brother.....going to be an expensive next couple months :(

It never ends fellas! I justify it by not drinking, smoking, gambling or going out unless it's with my family or to action shooting matches. Happy wife = happy life! :)

Sometimes I feel lucky that I don't have a wife to answer to like like alot of you guys :p

I hear people say that all the time but I wouldn't change a thing. I am lucky though because I married my best friend who just happens to be a hot, ###y, intelligent woman. I have witnessed bad relationships first hand and they are nothing I can relate to!

Same with kids. People who don't have them usually don't see how much they change your life for the better.

I've gotten into many different hobbys in my lifetime. While this one is expensive it has the best financial return. Buy a good gun dont end up liking it and sell it you don't lose the farm in doing so. I'm also big into RC helis, the large expensive kind 3-4 grand done up, crash it and your out thousands. Don't crash it use it only a few times and goto sell it lucky to get 60% it's rediculous. That resale fact alone has put me less into RC and more into guns.

I was out of guns for 4 years due to where I lived and my job being so demanding back in as of last September and allready spent over 20k since then, crazy? Ah well Fak it you only live once go hard! :D

I've often noticed people say this, not realizing that we do see how much your lives are changed for the better..
not in the tea leaves for all of us I'm afraid

I don't think anyone would ever say it to someone other than the people who are "grateful" they don't have kids. Those are the only ones I am sure this is directed to. I meet a lot of people who see something like a baby crying or me not being able to go somewhere because of my responsibilities and say they are glad for their freedom. These are the only people I direct his to. I didn't think it was in the cards for me either! My first daughter took eight years of trying.
