Looks awesome! Did you get the barrel trimmed?

Edit: Nm, its from the XCR forum....

What about this ar stock adapter?
northeasternarms.com/accessories/robinson-xcr/xcr-ar-stock-adapter

The rifle is back at the store, i have to wait and see if they want the stock or the whole rifle, either way after paying almost 3k with tax RA should pay for the adaptor and stock, their screw up so why should I pay, saying that i know im going to get jack s**t from RA but a long wait and the same crap back.

FFS 3k rifle and they cant get the simplest of parts to work.

I'm a little concerned myself. My new xcr just showed up in the mail on Monday. Hope it works! I ordered the fast stock when I bought the rifle.

Yep, thats RA for you. Like I said, they had better smarten up if they want to stay in business. Thats why I am on the waiting list for a Keltec RFB. It will be my 7.62 black rifle. Unless the Swiss Arms SAPR gets here and is not more the $4000 or so. I may one day get an XCR-L but, only when I hear they have worked ALL the bugs out. When I buy a rifle, especially one thats $3000, I want 100% reliability when maintained properly. Parts should not come loose or not work properly when it leaves the factory. Funny, you dont hear much about the Swiss Arms, Benelli MR-1, Keltec RFB, or even the CZ-858 having many problems so, whats with RA? The owner does sound like a bit of a bonehead but, I mean come on. He releases a new stock design with a bunch of problems that should have been resolved before it was mass produced? Same with the XCR in the first place. Maybe he will learn from his mistakes now? The second time? Most companies products have a few kinks to work out when new but, RA products always seem to have a lot and large ones to boot.

Easy now fellas.
The XCR-L is a real decent rifle if you're willing to give it a try and learn its its strengths and shortcomings. Mines over 2 crates through the 7.62X39 kit and runs like a champ.
For the record I had an 858 with the gremlin as well as seeing a broken firing pin on a CSA. I have seen SKS's acting up as well.
No use arguing about it though as you'll just get shot down on here, all I can tell you is my particular rifle is a sweetheart.

No excuses though, I feel for you folks that have to go through the grief of warranty battles etc.
I usually just grumble and find a way to fix certain things myself, but that's a hell of alot of cake to spend on a new rifle that malfunctions right out of the gate. :(

Yours is probably one of the newer ones. They have worked a lot of the bugs out I hear. And as for shortcomings, there shouldnt be many imo. Like the whole Loctite fiasco. I know they have worked out some of that problem now but, why didnt they know that in the first place? It doesnt take a rocket surgeon to figure out recoil will vibrate parts loose on a firearm. There is a reason firearms like the AR stake parts that can come loose or design parts in a way that they dont need screws. Plus, you cant tell me that when shooting thousands of rounds through their test guns they didnt see any of these problems. I think they did and released it anyway planning to fix it as they go along. Now they release this new stock that has problems that even most laymens would foresee. I just find it funny that some of the other new black rifles on the market like the MR-1 and RFB have much less problems if any. I was starting to think RA was learning and then they release this flawed stock.

Now all you need to do is change the pistol grip and install the rear BUIS properly. ;) (I kid, I kid...)

Yeah after I snapped the pic I realized I had the rear sight on backwards, I just received the black stock and troys from #### Proenekke that day and threw it together quickly for a pic :p
No complaints with the ACR stock...it's solid for sure and seems a more natural fit to me than an AR style one.

Try the rubberized MOE+ from Magpul sometime. Really nice grip.

I ordered my fast stock from Wolverine. It won't be here for at least a couple weeks. If I call today, you think they'd send my money back or just give me store credit? How does that work?
I think I'm going to cancel my order today if I can get my money back. The rifle will likely be on the EE in a couple days. I'm really not feelin this company. Maybe I'll get another one in the future if Mr. Robinson decides to get his **** together. Would be nice if it wasn't so overpriced too.

I would like to keep the xcr-m, the rifle shoots good and i really like it, but the stock for me has been a pita, if only they would send me a good stock, what gets me is how they could screw up such a simple thing, there is a user who posted a video of the xcr-m and his stock gave up on the first shoot as well but he fixed it, which is great for him but if i am paying 3k for a rifle i dont expect to start fixing things.

We have some " standard tube" type stocks in inventory if anyone wants to return a "Fast" stock for exchange with one of these please e-mail me for a return number. All new rifles will be coming with "Fast" stocks unless I change the orders.

I like my XCR-L. I love the aesthetics, modularity, ergonomics, and how easy it is to customize. Shoots pretty well and hasn't malfunctioned once in almost 1000 rds.
It is damn heavy though, and very poorly balanced. Just shouldering it and emptying a magazine seems pretty uncomfortable and my frail body gets a bit sore from just keeping it shouldered.
The only stock I want is the UBR and I can't even get that because nobody makes an adapter that looks half-decent with the UBR, so I settled for this new fast stock. Now I'm reading about all these stock malfunctions and still hearing about malfunctions with the new XCR-L rifles. I have had to lactate a couple parts on mine already and mine is one of the new ones. Not a huge deal, but still kind of a piss off.
Basically, I work damn hard for my money and feel like it'd be better spent on something else.
I'm getting annoyed with how RA releases new overpriced products for his customers to test, and from what I hear, he is a bit of a #### to people.
I think it's time for me to move on to something else.

Thanks Mr. Wolverine, but is there any way a guy could just get his money back instead?
