My newest 1911. 9mm STI Trojan with Ed Brown mainspring housing and mag well, Dlask titanium and magnesium alloy trigger, Wilson ambi-safety, Wilson tactical mag release, VZ Black Alien grips(updated pic as previous grips were not magwell cut), custom trigger work by Omega Custom guns and last but not least a Dawson front sight!

A guy that shoots IDPA regularly with me shoots the Sig 1911 Tacops. It runs like a top.
I won't be able to shoot it for 2 more weeks since I'm back in Gagetown on course... But the fit and finish is top notch this is the best 1911 I have ever held... There is 4 MIM parts that I will replace with EGW parts... For a 1200$ gun I'm very happy... The trigger pull is a dream compared to my glock, GSG and paras...
I wish the sights were night sights but they are adjustable and feel solid... I just ordered some glow in the dark paint Green for the back and red for the front.... and if that doesn't work out I will order Novak cut fiber optics...
The front checkering is awesome... I've never had that on a 1911 before and got wrap around finger groove grips for all my 1911... The sigs wood grips and checkering feel solid in my hands... So No need to change them out...

My new STI Lawman arrived yesterday. Only change I made was have Sean at Freedom Ventures install the Heinie fixed rear. Gun is so tight, finish is great, checkered front strap is perfect, the grips feel amazing. Gonna take it out Sunday and give it a work out. Compliments to Sean again for the amazing service, truly 2nd to none.
