Lets get a some lever action #### going

Outstanding collection, I'm in awe!!! You do realize that with a gun collection like that you're worth more dead than alive, don't you, to your beneficieries. Ya might wanna think about that for a minute!!!:D:D lol

...............and sell the whole collection to me, cheap....I'm trying to save your life here!! :D:D lol

Well as we all know we are only keepers of these collections for a period of time and hopefully someone will appericate this collection when I am through with them. I have had a lot of people wanted to buy specific Marlins from me and I would not break the collection up. I plan on increasing this collection with some more Marlins in the near future as I am always looking for rare pieces. There are some really rare Marlins out there that I keep searching for, like the model 1888 carbine, records of 20 being made and shipped, so far none have showed up.;)

My wife does realize that there is some value in the collection so hopfully it dosen't get charmed out of her

Senior; One of my fav guns is a 20" Oct barrel 25-20.
Those short rifles with oct barrels are quite rare!
Here's mine next to a Win SRC.

That Model 1894 in .25-20 with 20" barrel is nice gun and yes very rare to find. Of course you know where you can aways get rid of it if the you so desire. ;) Have you ever had the gun lettered to confirn it's configuration?

My Henry Big Boy mare's leg with a full size Henry Big Boy butt stock...

(THX CGN got full size stock on the EE) Man this little rifle is SWEET! 45 colt and OAL is 31.5" I was going to sell the mare's leg as it had lost it's charm but now this little rig is not going anywhere.

I don't have a photo but a suprise came up talking to my shooting buddy at coffee this morning. 'Apparently' he's taking the five calibre variations he has of the Winchester saddle ring carbine to put up for sale at the gun show in Chilliwack this weekend.

very nice

I wasn't aware you could letter a Marlin.
Where/How do you do that?
I did a little time on a Marlin site & found out how rare they are.
Some big collector in the states was putting a list together of SR & took my info. It was a very short list & he falsely listed my gun as a 44-40, I e-mailed him to notify him of his mistake but don't know whether he ever changed it.

Freddyfour, overall I think the finish looks awesome. Very happy thus far. My 11yr old daughter likes the "case hardened" look/colour of the receiver especially and commented on how she wants her bedroom walls done like that lol. I got this fine looking/handling 1892 carbine from a local store here through North Sylva.
