posted this in the gunsmitting section didnt get much help,was just wondering if anyone on here might be able to help. Some of these rifles were chambered to shot the 30 30 win round is it possible to still do this or not .Any help would be appreciated ,Thanks in advance

Yes it's possible but you will need two reamers and a sleeve soldered into the chamber.

These rifles are commonly found for $75-$100, ready to shoot.

Why on earth would you want to spend $400+ to convert one?

They're good rifles and shoot well.

Put a WTB ad in the EE and I'm willing to bet you will get several offered to you.
 
i was just interested as to cost the rifle i something that i have no ammo for and will never shoot because of this .was thinking if it was a simple convarsion then the rifle could be put to use.Think ill take your advise and post it in the EE
