Just did the load development for my new timberwolf 338lm . Here it is

300gr OTMs , 90gr H1000, 2800fps , 3shot group, 100yards ,

Custom built 6BR on Rem XR-100 action
4 rounds at 100m while doing barrel break in, no load development had yet taken place. These were shots 12-15 through the new barrel.

Why only 4 rounds? Because I only had 9 rounds left and I wanted to see what it would do at 200m with 5 shots: (Shots 16-20 through new barrel)

Yeah......I shanked the last shot...LOL




10 Shots at 300m with another 6BR on another XR-100 Action (Semi-Match conditions)

15 shots, 300m in match conditions (Same 6BR as top pictures)

It is always nice when it all comes together, whether it be a custom gun that you expect to really perform, or it is a factory rifle that shoots way better than it should.
I have a Remington 700 "Classic" in 300 Savage, that is one of the latter.
It always will put 3 under ¾moa, but often puts them under a half inch.
Here is it's best group ever: .040", center to center.
