Absolute best group so far...

:D:D:D

I don't have a picture of the group, but in a previous reincarnation I shot a 5 shot group at 100 yards with this gun when I had it that measured .33 inches from side to side with 110 gr Accubonds and H4831sc.

That was a .08 inch five shot group, back then the barrel was a bit longer and it wore a 4x12x40 Burris FF11 scope and a Boyds laminated stock.

Here's one I dug out of a book where it shouldn't have been - I had forgotten about it!
Likely one of the best offhand groups I have ever shot with a light sporter Ruger No.1 it had a Paul Marquart barrel on it, but it is still a great group for me considering the distance!
I figured since I had a hard time believing it myself, I should get the danged thing witnessed by another guy that was at the range !:p

With decent hunting class firearms and with a reasonable effort to reloading quality, consistent and accurate hunting ammo, I thought I wasn't doing too bad. What the results some of you have posted, it's obvious I have a ways to go yet. Some great reloads and shooting results some of you have posted.

Somewhere in my stored paperwork is a recorded 5-shot group at 200 yards, shot with a Benchrest 222 Remington, HB Shilen 1-14" twist, using McCraken 51 grain HP FB bullets that measures .070" C to C
That would be my best group ever. I'll try to dig it up and post it.
It was shot 30 years ago, and I have moved at least 4 times in that period, so not sure.
