Who's shootin .375 Ruger?

I've only had mine a week, still need to scope it, but curious if anyone has done some load development for this round? I grabbed some dies,225gr Hornady's and some IMR 4350 when I got the rifle, so that's all I've loaded so far. The 260gr Accubond has been highly recommended and I intend to try it, but there's a bunch of bullets and powders out there.
If anyone has done any laoding or hunting with this cartridge I'd love toi hear about it. Mine is a M77 Alaskan,for the record.
 
I had the chance to shoot one belonging to CGN'r "Doug" a few weeks back. He had a loading that I put my 3 into an 1.25 with that unfamilair rifle. Maybe PM him for his recipe. It is new to him, so I don't think that he has had a chance to bloody it yet though.

I use H4350 for almost all the reloading I do for the NEW KING. I've ried RL-17 and got some incredible velocities, too. But maybe a little less accuracy.

I use 83.5 H4350 with the 260 NAB

I load the ammo for a pal of mine who owns one. We've tried 4350, Re-19, and 760. The powder we decided on was Hybrid 100V. After experimenting with several different bullets, my pal also prefers the 260 gr AB to anything else. Small game loads are powered by an appropriate charge of Unique, and I've used Hornady 270 gr Interlocks and cast 300 grs for these, velocity I keep down to about 1200 fps. If I had one of those I'd probably conentrate on 270 gr TSXs.

That rifle is chambered for 375 Chatfield-Taylor. It's a wildcat that necks 338Mag brass up to 375cal.

End result is a short 375 cal that equals the H&H and Ruger, so is relevant to the OP.

Perfect, thanks. I'l pick up some of those 260's next time I'm in the city, maybe some H4350 too.

Unless I'm mistaken thats a 375 C/T or Chatfield - Taylor.
My brother has that and his wife uses a 416 Chatfield - Taylor... :)
 
My #1 son has a ruger 375 in the African and uses 260 AB with Win 760, great velocities and accuracy. He used it last year in Africa with the 260 AB and shot everything out to 350 mtrs with it on animals from Blesbok to Eland andf it worked flawlessly. He gets over 3100 fps with the 260 AB and 760 and even in 35 deg weather no ejector marks.
