Wow do i ever hate my XCR....

It looks really bad to complaint about NOT having time to hang around CGN, then follow up with LONG WINDED Posts. Hope you had a good night sleep.

This is the INTERNET, when you're a harsh critic expect to be criticize back, sorry dude, that life ;) When you air your laundry in public, be prepared for feed backs from both side, that's life.

Used complicates the equation. Aluminum is easy to abuse.

So you just wanted to rant, have full support and that CGN luving. OK, the world hates XCR, piece of junk, Alex should be spanked. Hope you get a good price selling the XCR on EE. Have a Nice Day :)
Its called going to sleep...Im sorry we cant all hang out on gunnutz all day and night some of us actually have this craaazzzy thing called a job.

The rifle was purchased used with realitivy low milage.I will try and post some pics of the fitment issues later today.Like i said before it was a rant post on things i dislike on -MY- XCR,nothing more nothing less.Im not asking for anyone to do anything.I just thought i would share my s**tty experience with my newish XCR on a firearms forum in a post with XCR in the title. Is that ok with you?

My hidden agenda? are you for real? If you notice, hot shot, The time between my postings in this thread is the time an average human being usually sleeps...Id love to go into deeper detail on what i think about people like you that shoot off at the mouth but to be honest you just arnt worth getting the ban over.

Obviously you're having anger management issues so don't want to upset you anymore or get your banned from uncontrollable outbursts.

Recall Wolverine is the importer that you don't want to deal with so looks like there's not much more to be done. Wish you did contact Wolv. as XCR owners displeased with the "wobble" already sounded off they're interested in outcomes with the importer/distributor.

Please post outcome if you do decide to contact Wolverine to see if mfr warranty apply and esp. for used guns. Have a Nice Day, PEACE MAN :D
Wow dude you are either Alex Robinsions mistress or you have share's in the company.I really could give a s**t if YOU think its something minor.I dont, you dont have the rifle in front of you,i do.As i said earlier ive had 3 other people look at this gun, they ALL think that there is entirely way to much play between the upper and lower. These are all people that shoot AR's and are familiar with firearms.I really dont know what else to say other then GTFO now plz.I cant wait until you happen to one day make a post about a problem you are having with a particular gun.

Notice how the title of this post is ''Wow do i ever hate -MY- XCR'' key word being ''MY'' Did i say ''wow do i ever hate all the XCR's every made'' Seriously man get off my nut sack and find a friend. This is why i don't post much on this forum. You always get some know it all angst internet commando trying to jump down your throat. Its almost like a group of you sit on here 24/7 eating cheesy s and just counting the seconds until someone posts something you dont agree with.Wipe the sweat from your forehead, put the mountain dew down and relax man lol.

A member here pm'd me and suggested a fix that actually worked well.Im not super thrilled about the fix involving electrical tape but whatever works i guess.Put 100 through it this afternoon and it held up fine. All that said,my original rant still stands lol.

In case anyone is curious ill copy/paste the fix.

''To take the play between the upper and lower here is what I did. I found the play was between the nub on the end of the oprod that fits into the hole on the lower receiver. All I did was clean that nub really good, then I cut some electrical tape to fit on just the top half of the nub. Then when I put the two together it was nice and tight. You have to be careful that you don't roll the tape up when you put it together. I thought about putting a bit of epoxy or something similar on the nub as well but haven't gotten around to try it.''

Cheers goes out to The Giant. Thanks man, much appreciated!

A bit off topic, if NEA made a Canadian Non Restricted with all the AR ergonomics and a solid reliable rifle I think the SA and XCR would have substantial drop in pricing...

The thing is to develop something new, the R&D costs and tooling need quite a bit of investment!

Hints have been dropped that ATRS has an AR10 style rifle being classified right now. It won't be cheap probably, but support the home grown product and the prices of competing rifles will come down over time.

Who knows what NEA might be working on, but their products are flying off the shelves due to building a product people want, building it in Canada, pricing it affordably and boasting the best customer service out there. They have their hands full just keeping up with demand, but this should ensure that if they ever catch up they'll have a bit of cash in the pot to fund some of that expensive R&D on a new NR black rifle for us to play with.

That XCRs and SA rifles sell for the prices they do demonstrates the demand for a non-restricted black rifle with AR ergonomics, so I'm sure whatever ATRS has in the works will be well-tailored to that demand, and maybe NEA has something too. Fingers crossed.

Keeping it would be blasphemy. I'm anxiously awaiting the wording in the EE ad; and of course the rock bottom price for such a piece of loctite junk. OP's TR is good, I'll buy it at scrap metal price. Just keeping it real :stirthepot2:
So, I think the question we're all dying to ask is: are you keeping it now?
