JWire, call us tomorrow, we'll get it sorted out for you.

Ryan

Now, THAT........is called good customer service! :)

I was going to make a joke like "lets wait and see perhaps he'll tell him to get stuffed", but then the later stuff comes.

They are discontinued so we cant get you another one but at the least we'll give you a full refund.Ryan

None of my business, but a full refund on a product you can't get replaced that is already a year old, is WAY too much. Seriously!!! Everyone expects the retailer to take it up the hoop. I don't think Ryan should be giving a refund on it unless he can get Taurus to do something, it is a manufacturers defect, not a "Ryan's" defect. Even then, a full refund after a year? Holy Cow. "Making it right" isn't always the firearms retailer having to bend over and loose their shirts.

Might have been a good idea to remove the grips and do a serious clean of the gun, sometime in that year ya had the gun, eh?

Anyways, Ryan how much you want for that gun, now that it is used, and in such terrible condition to warrant a full refund?

Seriously though, it looks more and more like my next purchase is going to be through SFRC!!!

Wow, Ryan, sometimes you go too far! A full refund is kind of crazy, but boy do I love dealing with your company. On a side note I also have an issue. I bought a bunch of ammo off you last year and now it is only empty shell cases with burn marks and no bullets or powder in them any more, not to mention all the primers have been fired. Can you replace those too please?

total agreement, love the company (AmmoSource) but there is customer service, and then there is being walked all over. This is what breeds irresponsibility in our society today, check what you buy when you get it, a month is more than enough time to have fully looked the gun over. I bought a Norinco M4, i've had it for years now and the frame is kinda rough looking and there is a scratch on the one side, can I bring it back for a full refund and get a new one?

For the record, I was not complaining lol Just recognizing that Ryan is giving this guy more than I would say this guy is entitled to, which Ryan is certainly entitled to do!

I know where I'm buying my next gun!

That's some pretty awesome customer service right there! No #####in, no complaining..customer is always right..we stand behind the stuff we sell.

I like it.

If I were the op I would work out a different deal with Ryan, I wouldn't want to screw him like that.

Don't worry about me folks. The OP had an issue and we're taking care of it. As much as there is the odd hickup along the way, most of you keep coming back as we're easy to get along with and stand by what we sell.

Ryan

Just a note to you and the other people complaining about what Ryan Offered me, I did not once ask for this, I was asking it to be fixed, and from what i read it should have been covered under warranty, Ryan went above and beyond to offer me it.
I didn't screw him, He offered.
To more then what i am entitled to? screw you i bought a new gun, yeah i didn't check the whole gun right away, but it would have been the same out come open it up see it rusted sent back for warranty,
And I didn't complain about Ryan, or the ammo source, i complained about the fact that the revolver was poorly made and rusted because of it, SRFC didn't make the revolver Taurus did.

Again read my post

Whats the warranty on these, because its is a major manufacturer defect. I wish i had stripped it down when it got to my house last year. I believe this falls under The Taurus Unlimited Lifetime Repair Policy.
Honestly i don't know how they would repair that as its ground down on one side more the the other and rusted badly because of that.
Ryan can you advise what can be done?

I asked a question, on what can be done, no demands nothing, if Ryan had said nothing can be done well then thats what could have been done, Ryan has amazing customer service and offered a refund, I thank him for it, and to the rest of you whiners, That don't like the fact that Ryan gave me great customer service and expect me to get told to F off so you have something to troll about, you can go troll somewhere else now.
