NEA 15 wait times

Just curious what the average wait time people are experiencing for their new NEA's. I'm in Afghanistan right now (and for several more months), but would like to know roughly how far in advance I need to order so that it's there soon after I get home. Especially those ordering 14.5 which is my preference, but also thinking about the 10.5. Thanks guys

And yes I know ASAP is a good time to order, but I also have other things that require $ right now too :(. Too many guns to buy and not enough money, I need to win the lottery lol

SFRC has 3 X14.5" and 8 X10.5" in stock according to their site, the only wait should be the transfer time.
 
And to the OP, you are probably better to ask dealers this question as those of us who have them will have quite varied delivery times due to the newness of these rifles being available. I ordered mine in October and got it in January but I suspect someone that ordered in January got theirs in February.

These rifles have been very popular and NEA is working their butts off to get caught up - from what I have read in other threads, NEA hopes to have rifles sitting on dealer's shelves (ie all backorders taken care of) in the near future so if you are a few months away from coming home, you will likely have little trouble in getting one.
 
Depends on the configuration. 10.5 and 7.5 have been slower to trickle out. NEA is ramping production once they get back from Germany, so hopefully the back log will be cleared within a couple of months.

I would like to think if you are in Afganistan serving our Country, that one of the dealers would make some arrangements with you to get one when you get back!

If not maybe we should reconsider supporting them!

Maybe I am just assuming you are supporting our Country?
 
By the time you get back from your tour I'm hoping there won't be any wait times, just guns in stock. I'm thinking there will be a 2-4 week wait on most guns at the moment with the shortest wait being on 14.5" guns with 9" rails...I think I filled the last or second last one last week. 14.5" with 12" rails are the next shortest wait list. By the end of next week I hope to have another good chunk of the back orders out the door.

Thanks for all the input guys. Yes I am serving Canada, proud Patricia through and through. . . . sadly serving with the RCR group over here right now :( lol :p

If the consensus seems to be that the back orders should be done by the time tour is over, maybe I will wait and get my hands on one at a store to make sure which configuration I really want. . . hopefully I don't decide on all of them :D

Lol, well thank you Dave I very much appreciate it. And as an old OC of mine used to say, "once a Patricia, always a Patricia." No such thing as an ex-Patricia just one that isn't currently serving with the Regiment.

You should seek the assistance of a financial advisor if you can't afford a $1000 rifle on tour pay.

When I said too many guns and not enough money, I meant if I had the money I'd buy a 7.5, 10.5, 14.5 NEA-15 not to mention several more shotguns, rifles, and 5 or 6 handguns. It's not the one $1000 rifle that I need the lottery for, just the other 20 guns I want with optics and ammo (can never have enough).

Plus I know a good chunk of people back home who are still making more money than me right now. Even though it's tour #2, I still don't make crazy amounts of cash what with the house, wife, and kid. ;)
