Shot my first crow today

It's been pretty nice out and I thought I would go for a drive in the country and see if there were any skunks wandering around looking to get shot. I didn't see any skunks but I did spot a couple of crows out in a field, and then there was one. I sure like the 17FB as you get to spot your hits and it's not overly loud if you don't have time to get some hearing protection on. I did miss a couple of magpies though so it wasn't a totally perfect outing. Next time.

Ravens are larger, live in more northern areas and are very intelligent. So if a large black bird is playing suduku, it's most likely a raven. Good job killin crows. Starlings are what bother me the most around here.

I would have taken a pic with my cell phone but the fields are too wet to drive on and I wasn't going to walk out there. They sure are early this year. Normally they don't show up till around Easter.
