Ruger SP 101 in .357 coming to Canada?

I know that if I'd shot anyone with a 357 J frame it DEFINITELY will have been a last resort - you sure as h*ll wouldn't pull that trigger if you didn't have to.

I can tell you, it's a mittfull with full power .357s but quite tame with 38 specials

the 4.2" one is only a hair over 1" longer, and I doubt it's significantly heavier.

8 shot .22 LR version is also coming, various waiting lists out there...

The SP101 grips are surprisingly comfortable. The SP101 weighs a fair bit more than the comparable J frame Smith. Added to the more ergonomic rubber grips, the SP101 seems to absorb the recoil of the .38 / .357 in a way that takes at least 2 inches off the meth-inspired, baseball bat biker... still unpleasant.

Or maybe I'll just keep it as well...........
