So I,m going to buy an automatic powder dispenser,
was looking for some input as what brands everyone is using, pro,s and cons on each brand,
does any one have an ISD smartreloader powder dispenser , or a hornady or a pact ???
what other brands besides Lyman and RCBS and the ones I mentioned is there????

Lee Pro Auto-Disk Powder Measure for progressive or turret
lee Perfect Powder Measure for magnum rifle, etc.

They work #1, cost nothing. Why buy something else.

I don't think I could live without my Chargemaster combo. I definitely couldn't reload without it.

i use an auto disk on a turret press for pistol and a Lyman no 55 for rifle cartridges. the Lyman is surprisingly consistent and takes less than 3 minutes to throw charges in a tray of 60 270 cases. I clack twice every charge it never swings more than +/- .1 grain.

I'm sure RCBS is fine. I'm also sure that it's at least twice the price of the LEE just because it's green and maybe it weights twice as much, if you care. Whatever, they both work I'm sure.

Try about 15 times more expensive.

I use the LEE perfect powder Measure. If I want match grade reloads, I'll take the time to weigh each and every one individually, otherwise, a difference of a decimal of a grain either way is acceptable to me. That's not the case for everyone, but I got into reloading to be able to shoot more for less. If I'm spending $500 for equipment that does what I can do just fine - the way I see it that's less money that I can spend in reloading components.

But if money's not an issue and you want an accurate, completely automated powder dispensing & measuring system, I place my vote for the RCBS Chargemaster.
