NcStar Scopes

Makes you wonder what their profit margin is on the optic when its cheaper to replace it then refund your money? Ah, f*ck it. I run quality glass and couldn't care less what cheap crap those who know little care to run. The rants at the range/match when their glass takes a dump is worth it.

That and seeing the 12" 100 yard groups. :D

Not only would i avoid any nc-star product, i would not support a gun shop / dealer that stoops low enough to flog this schitt to clueless patrons.

Avoid ncstar completely, you will have trouble, when is the issue, not if. Sightron , makes a great product. SII is good SIII much better. You will not regret buying sightron, they are the Toyota of scopes. Maybe not the absolute best, but plenty good for 98% of shooters.

Who has Sightron?

I can tell you one thing for sure about ncstar - the camo version blends in incredibly.. take a look..

I rest my case.... not NcSTAR, then how can you critique the product......

One came with my AIA Enfield from Marstar. The back part of the optics came loose, and can rotate right off. The back glass has fogged. It won't focus at high power beyond 300m. It sits unused.

You take that back! 12" patterns are more than acceptable... Oh wait, we're talking about rifles here not shotguns?! My bad.

Agreed. Any shop that offers this crap is either just as clueless as their customer base or only concerned with profit and don't care who they con to achieve it.

It sits unused... Just like the day it came off the production line. Then again, you can't use something that doesn't work.

On a side note, I have to ask this question again. What serious hunter and/or competitor runs NcStar and/or promotes the brand???

I have had one of their acog look alike things with 4x ish magnification on my 1022 for about two years. The thing would not hold a zero, so i toghtened up the qd mount so that it actually clamps down and now it holds its zero. It will not return to the same place if you take it off then put it on again. The punishing recoil of my 22 has not killed it yet, but i am 99% sure one mag through my ar with this thing even looking at it and it would be a gonner.

Once again another NcStar thread. The information you are getting is from people that have never tried the product all hear say because they are made in China like alot of other so called branded quality optic products. NcStar optics have their place in the market. If they fail for you get another one under the lifetime warrany and sell it, I have not had to sell one yet..........

They are junk!

Especially as a hunting scope. What good does the warranty do you when they fail on your hunting trip?

So, you get back home, have it replaced under warranty, and then sell it, knowing its predecessor was junk.

A waste of both your time and money, ......and the next guy gets suckered!

They are junk!

NC Star.. is real junk, i actually bought one a while back (3-9x32).. figured it would be ok for .22 , but wasn't happy with it at all. So, i gave it to a friend, and he ended up using it as a target... :) shot it from 50m out of his AR.. that was fun.. :)
