Seeking advice/suggestions on a synthetic stock for a Winchester 70 long-action magnum caliber I own. It's a 1990's CRF so we're talking pre-2008 FN style. All I know is I'd like one that is light weight and decent quality. I've had old B&C, Ramline and Butler-Creek's in the past and wasnt to impressed. Any suggestions, offers or sellers here in Canada?
Thanks Geoff

Echols would be another one to look into. RickBin on 24 hourcampfire is the one to talk to about mcmillans. If you tell him of stocks that fit you well he can help you narrow down which mcmillan would best suit your needs.

McMillan with EDGE will get you fairly light, and there are several patterns to pick from. My personal favorite is the Sako Hunter pattern, as I prefer the monte carlo and the palm swell. Just got one recently, inletted for a M70 s/a.

Also, there is a Bansner in the EE if you want to do some finishing work.
