I have a small B & D cordless drill that attaches to my Forster trimmer. It really helps. Some other trimmers come with an attachment to fit your trimmer to a power drill. I think RCBS does anyway.

If I have a bunch to do I try and do them in batches of 50 and then do something else for a while and then do 50 more. Breaks up the monotony.

I was spending way too much time on case prep. So I bought the Lee Zip Trim and that helped a little. Then I mounted a corded drill horizontally, wired through a foot controller and this ended making my case prep about 4x faster.
 
Gracey trimmer. Works like an electric pencil sharpener. Take about 3 second per case that you hold in your hand. Trims to length, chamfers inside and outside in one operation.
 
You could do those 400 cases in about 15min. with a Giraud...

Trimmed, chamfered and deburred all in one step.
 
There are 2 Easy ways to save your thumbs....

For .223 I used my Lee cutter chucked into my cordless drill and held the case in the shell holder with my thumb so I didn't need to keep turning the lock ring... It works surprisingly well tho not super accurate.

Now I use my Dillon trimmer... Been playing with it in my single stage and all I can say is I don't regret the $400 price tag.

I use a Giraud, your 400 cases would be done within 2 hours if you worked in a careful, pedestrian manner, or an hour is you just ran them through as quick as you could. Trimming, deburring, and chamfering is done in a single step. Just google Giraud Case Trimmer. Shipping from Texas is no problem.

Still requires chamfering and deburring and not as fast as the Dillon, Giraud or Gracey overall, but still much quicker than manual trimmers and only $70

Also, the Giraud is quite accurate if you make a shell holder using the same reamer as your chamber. Even just asking for him to use a match reamer for the case holder makes the chamfering edge a lot more concentric, especially if your cases will always be full length sized before trimming.
 
Ya I picked up a WFT in February for my AR brass (.223), and I can do 400 an hour easy with it. Yes I still need to chamfer and deburr, but for the $ it was the best $70 I ever spent.
