So I bought a glock 22 gen 4 from Arma Coat... which is my first handgun. I have been shooting rifles for a number of years hunting and target shooting. I reload for my 300WSM because I do not want to pay $3 a round for quality hunting ammo (well I don't save any money but I shoot it more) and I reload for my 308Win target gun for cost and accuracy.
I am looking at reloading for my glock, I figure it is going to cost about $100 for 500 rounds using brass I already saved. Which makes it worthwhile... I have a few questions though.
Is it necissary to trim pistol brass (trimming 500 brass would not be fun)? Is there any advantage in accuracy? Do you work up a load similar to rifle testing accuracy at set increments in the powder charge? What powder and bullets are recommended to try?
Thanks!
