10/22 photos - post 'em up here!

How do the promags work that are that size??? any good or problems???
Apparently there are some things you can't do with an iPhone, so here we go again:

Dlask rails, fake AVG (not the best quality honestly), AR grip (not fitted yet because I can't find a long enough allen key, chose the HK416 irons over the NcStar, and Promag 9-22 mag.

Should be fun!

Where did you get your gear

Where did you get your gear? I want the same rails and sites???
Thanks in advance
Steve

Heres a few pics of my NEARLY complete sr-22 (just waiting on the pws-t3 mag release lever). Took these pics with my cell phone so quality is not the best.

Starting from the front:
Custom barrel shroud
NC star compact green laser
Magpul AFG2
Dlask quad rails
Bushnell trs-25
UTG medium profile riser

Finally got my other custom 10/22 together, here's a crappy phone pic of it, along with its brother, they are of sequential serial numbers.

mauser's INTERNATIONAL STAINLESS MODEL 10/22 on page 7 is unique. Recently I saw a similar rifle in wood and blued. It was for sale but without documentation.

Are those Ross Schuler muzzle brakes on your guns??? It looks from the pics, like the round ports are pointed down, they are supposed to be pointed up so that they don't blow dust and dirt when shooting prone and also to offset muzzle rise (I know, I know... we are talking about LR, but the principle is the same). Guns look good. :)

Yes they are, and I haven't timed them yet, thats just were they ended up with the spacers I had for the old brakes. I'm going to loose the spacers and time them in the up position, just haven't got around to it.

I got it from the local Gun store but they're made by TufForce and they were $24.99 in store (maybe cheaper online?) but they aren't as nice as the DLASK rails IMHO but not bad for half the price.

I have Dlask rails myself .. I just liked the look of something different. Really sets it apart from the rest of the SR's on here .. good choice IMHO!

Heres a couple links I found for the rail ($20):
http://combatoptical.com/catalog/SR-22-10.4-Inch-Full-Length-Picatinny-Top-Rail-718.html
http://www.amazon.com/SR-22-10-4-Inch-Length-Picatinny/dp/B003WI5V74

Those are regular rails, unlike the Tuffforce one in JR's pic ... thanks for looking though.

Looks good.

What mag is that you are using?

Does the Marauder/Nomad Mag release lock the bolt open after last round?

The mag is the Nomad/Marauder mag with the shell, I have both the SR-22 and a Marauder 10/22 and I like being able to use all my 10/22 mags in both guns with out removing the shell. The Extended mag release allows me to do this.

No, it doesn't hold the bolt open after last round. You still have to do that manually, however, I don't need to fiddle with the little switch to unlock it. I just just pull the bolt back and let it go. Also it gives the switch a different profile which I feel is less awkward to operate.

Where did you purchase the Nomad/Marauder mag with the shell?

Seen them on some US sites but I could not find any north of the border.

Looked at the pro-mags but time I got one home it would be over $60+

Hunter850- I got both of mine from HighCaliber Services. They seem to be sold out at the moment, but you can call him and order them in. Also, mystic Precision may have some in stock too.
