Trijicon acog ta11f red chevron

I just bought à trijicon acog ta11f 3.5X35 for my AR15 (LMT 14.5).

I read very goods reviews on internet..... What do you think about it?

I think it'll be a good setup for 75-300Y.

I love mine. Best Acog out there in my opinion. The eye relief is great (3") and the larger lens gathers lots of light. Very easy to acquire a quick sight picture in all shooting positions.

I run one on my Swiss Arms. I absolutely love it! Crystal clear glass, great reticle, no batteries and super, super tough. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to buy another.

I'm thinking of picking one of those up but can't decide which colour reticle to get. Any thoughts or comments on pros/cons of red over green or amber etc? Thanks.

I went with red because I think it's the easiest one to see. I received it a couple of days ago and I absolutely love it.

taking the Trijicon Acog as the best, what's a good imitation that's not quite as expensive?

I know...heresy and I'm NOT talking about cheap optics like NCStar, more like the Lucid HD7...but better and not as expensive?

I know of Eotech, but their prices seem to come in higher than even Trijicon, but that could just be me.

Lucid HD7 is a good scope. I have one. I'd buy another in a heart beat. For its price it's great. It has multiple reticles and is nice looking. But there are better for the same price from what I hear. But I'd go for the lucid. SFRC has them ins stock. I am dreaming of a ACOG.

can you elaborate on what else is available at Lucid's price point that is 'better'?

I'm about to pull the trigger on the Lucid HD7 for my SR-22, but I'm interested in hearing about these other solutions!

I have used both, although with limited time.

Green by far was the easiest to see. Hands down no question I would buy one with a Green Reticle.
