Sounds like someone got his feelings hurt!!:(:( Better get your team together. Lots of great talent from BC, then you can get your revenge:ar15:
LOL!!!

Is this an annual event? I'm living in Fort Mac right now but moving back in the summer and this definitely sounds like a good event I'd be interested in getting into. Plus I'm originally from Strasbourg so it's always nice to play around in my old stomping grounds!

Originally setup as a major event for us Westerner FR's that can't or will not make the annual CFRC in Ottawa, the Western Canada FClass Championship is an annual event, there each western province may host the match. In 2010-MPRA outside of Winnipeg, in 2011-APRA outside of Calgary, and now 2012-SPRA outside of Nokomis. In 2013 it is back to Wpg. One of the requirements to host, you need a 1000 yd range with butts.

No more teams have be formed but I'm sure they will on weight-in day, June 28th 2012.

24 guys paid and registered (10 FTR, 14 FO) and 3 four man teams formed to date with 50 days until the cancel date (minimum of 32 shooters needed) and 96 days to go until the match.

Based on numbers, 24 guys signed up, and 4 guys on teams but not pd yet, plus 5 guys saying yes but not pd yet, makes 33 guys. If everyone pays up, the match is a go at this point. BTW, ordered the NRA targets today too, enough for the Driller's on IBS 600 YD targets (da blue ones so you get take home group/score targets) and LR targets for the mini-palma and all of the WCFCC too. Will be ordering the shirts is a few weeks too so get those remaining entries in asap or you may end up with a tight or loose fitting shirt LOL...

Update: The build

Talked to Ross this morning and after the bolts are hardened, the two actions for this years prize table will be shipping to yours truly.

So for the rifle build this year we will have lined up for the build a Coyote action(Thanks PGW) Tubbs 3 way butt(Thanks DTubbs of SSS), and McMillan integral adj chk pc(Thanks me), a Jewell HVR trigger(Thanks GTaylor), a trigger guard(Thanks IKelbly of Kelbly Rifles), a laminate stock inletted for a Coyote Repeater(Thanks RMcCrea of Opuntia Lake Sports) and a gunsmith to put it all together.

Did you notice there is no barrel? I have been trying to find a long 30" barrel with 1.25 to 1.3" of shank for sometime with no success so I called Ross back and asked that they make one a barreled action using one of their 24" pre-chambered 308 barrels and the WCFCC will pay approx $400 for the barrel. This solves the barrel issue and cuts down on the build time since no chambering is needed. Just fitting for the stock to the action and the trigger to the action. The actions come with the bolts, bottom metal, 1 magazine, and an integral scope rail.

24 shooters in at this point with some 8 or 9 more shooters I know are coming. Ordering the 70 odd shirts too, the NRA LRFC targets have been ordered and are in Spokane now as I type this. The target crew will be training at our SPRA regular matches for the WCFCC so they should be pretty good at it by then. Myself and Shawn P. are off to MB to build the second target carrier system at 5 pm tonight. Things are looking pretty good guys, Get your entry fees in asap so I can pay for the shirts, trophies, targets, barrel, etc.
