Sight options Mossberg 500

Hey guys, looking for some sight options for my 500. I like the look of ghost ring sights. Who sells them? what brand to buy? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

Scattergun technologies are great. Kinda hard to find though.

If you get an ati heat shield, they have ghost ring sights on them. Not sure how good they are, but an idea

They're not hard to find at all, most gun shops will order them in for you. Tacord stocks them on a regular basis.

They're also completely incompatible with a 500 due to the location of the safety.

Vang Comp (see Tacord), LPI, MMC, XS, Sage and Mossberg all make sights that would work with a 500. Keep in mind that the front sight will likely need to be soldered to your barrel (barrel will need refinishing). You could use a banded front sight but it could move if knocked hard enough.

I know Steamwhistle had the ghost ring sights on his 500 and got rid of them since the would move on heavy loads.... The way it mounts is less then desirable...

We now run Hi-Viz I run green like on my SX2 he runs Red

Nice cheap and works great on a shotgun....

IMHO putting $150 ghost rings on a $199 aluminum receivered Mossberg 500 is a waste. enjoy the 500 for what it is, perhaps slap an improved FO bead on it.

if you want ghost rings put the money towards a 590 or a DA Grizzly that comes with them already.
