Husky FN-98 Bolt stripping / safety replacement

damn it was hard enough to do while holding on to a glass of Scotch..never mind video taping without a tripod :D. I think I embarrassed myself enough already !

Off to shoot a few groups with it on the weekend !

Don't worry about it. The first time I had a 98 go off- ####, I ended up taking the rifle to a 'smith. Took him all of 2 secs to fix the problem then another 10 minutes to show me how for the next time:). Scotch woud have probably helped.

I don't mean to put salt on the wound, but our diligent friend had way more than a decocked bolt on his hands.

Sorry Pathfinder - but we all must accept our deserved ribbings. Cheers - and congratulations on solving it yourself.

No problem on the ribbings...I Would not of solved it without the advice I found here...not mention proper assembly/dis-assembly instructions. Its just one of those times where you just dont' want to give up and send it to the smith .
