Next Team Hoser Match... Low Light/No Light

Besides, shooting low light or no light is barely even a challenge with a weapon mounted light.
You know, I was going to let sleeping dogs lie (I am a "put a light on your gun" kind of guy), but what? It is a lot faster of course, and less fumbling, but you still have to find and get the target.

Bersmith doesn't want them, it's his match, okay. But let's not say "barely even a challenge". For that matter, there are some things you can't do with a gun-mounted light, which is why even with one you need a light on your belt too.

I believe we're to bring our own flashlight ?
Why not supply one for all to use, so it's fair for all, in respect to props on the stages ?
and make it a big honk'n flashlight, that's hard to hold ;)

Because then we can't use our gucci flashlights that are a backup to the weaponlight :p

All kidding aside, thanks for letting me plead my case, I won't have a light mounted and will still have a good time.

Looking forward to the match.

Maybe its my night sights and pretty decent vision...I don't usually have a problem with low light, no light.

Most low light I hold my pistol as I normally would with the flashlight in my grip pointing at the ground. I find I get better shots and can still see the targets just fine...no light I have to change things up a bit.

The real challenge IMO comes from holding a light and shooting at the same time. And weapon mounted lights kind of take the fun out of that.

Don't know about you guys but I do my best shooting when my eyes are closed.
I've developed a bat like sonar system.

Light=cheating!!!!!

CoF design can also negate any benefit you think you may have by having a light mounted gun...

Ie in order to have some light you have to have your gun out....
You run into a CoF where you need some light but you're not supposed to have your pistol out ... Yet.

Just sayin'...

if I have to supply lights for everyone you will get a freakin candle and a night cap to wear as well. You don't want me to go there LOL

Darkest stage I've ever shot... 'Not my video, but... 'Gives an idea of what "dark" can be..:D
