So I got my SR-22 last may, and have just started to trick it out.

First thing I got was a MIAD grip as that stock grip is just so.... awkward.

I got it in yesterday and was playing around the "mission adapters" and noticed that 2 of the 3 grips don't work on it. The "valley" (in between my thumb and index finger) part is too tight to fit over the SR-22 valley. I got it working with one of them, involved ALOT of widdling with a jack knife and using a dremel to get it to fit right.

Just curious if anybody else has run into this with their MIAD grip and SR-22?

Yes, this thread is worthless without pics, I will have to update it later. Once my next shipment arrives that is! :D

The backstrap on my MIAD (when I had one) did not fit properly until I installed the roll pin that came with it. Then it was just a matter of torquing down the screw nice and tight. I didn't have any problems with the front straps at all. After taking the grip off, I did notice that the chassis had shaved plastic off from the inside of the grip. Afterwards it always slid on with no resistance.

Here is some pictures.

This is the extra thick grip that I haven't modified, but shows what my issue is.

How the whole shebang looks like right now ("through the ages" for your convenience) . Still waiting on some parts, which include more XTG rails and a SR-22 top Dlask Rail, as well as a couple internals. ;) Hopefully they show up tomorrow morning!

When I first got it Last May (Was my first gun, and my CPC Victory gun!)

i see what you mean .. mine also did the same, when the roll pin wasn't install the frame of the chassis pushed the backstrap down ... once the pin was in, no issues once torqued down.

Weird, cause when I tried that it looked like my grip was gonna break, or the bolt was about to bend/snap. Oh well, its modded now! :D

Thanks. I just bought a used sr22 chassis from Epps. Haven't seen it yet but it was missing the stock and grip. I purchased a grip locally but that piece was not included. Suspect that piece will not be with the chassis.
