wish i had a pic of the front of mag well. has a nice cross hatching for grip.

Dry as a bone.. Give her a wipe down and a oiling and she'll pop. Just some salts left after rinse.

Rinse it off in very hot water then let it dry. Give it a light wipe with some oil and give er.

I saw a scratch where my ejection port cover hits the lower receiver and I just about fainted. I can't imagine how the rifle actually functions with such a blemish.

There are wear marks forming on my brass deflector!

In all fairness though, when something is brand new it should come out of the box perfect. It's the character of use that comes out.
