Interesting thread.

A couple of monts ago, I raised the issue of who on the forum has a relationship with NEA, even as a beta tester for products, and how that related to the internet hype on here.

Right now, I kind of feel bad for NEA Dave, who seems to have always stepped up when customer service issues arose.

This is a PR apocalypse for both CGN and NEA.

I do feel bad for all the good and honest dealers hurt by this.

I guess I will only shop local for now. And Brownells.

It strikes me as odd that there is no comment from any mods on this.. Considering they are usual all over commenting on topics like this.... Not much of a brotherhood with them apparently.. So sad

As for USP, from everything Ive read from him ... He is a Hot-head, so no surprise here. I don't even know why he was a MOD in the first place.

Problem is, how do we know what are real issues? Maybe it was cooked up by NEA, then solved to show great customer service?

I stay out of the 'off topic' section. Too much drama and to easy to get banned. I have experienced this myself.

I do not know the story, but really. This is a internet forum. I'm sure this is more common on AR15.c

Imagine what goes on in the real world when these companies go for million dollar contracts all over the world. Smiles and handshakes get you no where.

All these other manufacturer 'celebs' that people swoon over probably have done / said some pretty slimy / questionable things over the years. But no one #####es.

Everyone does it. NEA wether they acknowledge it or not, got caught, that's all. Damn companies even pay celebrities to endorse their products even if we all KNOW they would NEVER use it, it's how it works. Yet we dont get pitchforks and torches out every time we see Tiger Woods driving a Buick on TSN...

He was forceful in his opinions, but was a good mod that enforced the board rules.
