how are these rifles in that caliber for some reason i heard that they had a chambering problem i feel that this would make a nice rifle for my cousin to start hunting and shooting at longer ranges 500m or so for fun (that is what he wishes to do) i feel the caliber is up to it but how about the rifle .are the rifles acurate it will be feed hand loads

Between my self and friends, we have a t-3 Varmint, a Super Varmint, and a Sporter in 6.5x55.Al three rifles will easily shoot five shot groups measuring sub 1/2moa.

I have a T3 lite in 6.5x55 never had any feeding issues and the gun has very good accuracy with factory ammo and mind bending accuracy with my handloads

I have a friend who owns one.
I wont say his name but he is a mainstay here and literally has had hundreds of guns and shoots all the obscure calibers;)

He refers to his T3 Swede as "Thors Hammer"... it's that good.

A tuxedo of made of bacon? :) Who's his tailor?

Are you kidding? Wouldn't all of Finland and Sweden revolt and descend on the factory en masse if there was a problem with 6.5x55?

i have owned t3's in many calibres and have never had a feeding issue. ones i have or still own 338 fed, 338 win, 300 wsm, 270 wsm, 7 rem, 7 08 6x55 and possibly some i don't remember. the mag design appears capable of working with most any round that will fit.

The T3 is a brilliant, accurate, and lightweight mass-produced rifle. The 6.5mm Swede is a fantastic, soft-shooting load capable of reaching out as far as most hunters can shoot. The two together topped with a great scope are a perfect match.

My T3 varmint shoots better than I can. Under 2"@300 with my handloads and I'm still working on them. It always impresses me. I'd like to try a T3 lite and see how it is.

about the same

No more issues than the rest of them.

The only problem I see is I currently can't afford to own one. :(

Same as mine, incredibly accurate with both the factory ammo that came with the gun and my not terribly sophisticated hand loads.

I'll echo everyone's reply and that they are great shooters. The 6.5 swede mag can accommodate a pretty long bullet as well. I was able to seat them just off the lands and have them still fit in the mag. I wish I could say the same about my T3 300wsm mag.
