What is the average going price for a Dewat FAL?

I had a mint converted auto in the late 80's. The one thing I most regret selling.

Maybe not for an FN but there are lots of guys around with Bren's and other similar guns worth over $1000 easily.

Dependant upon the FAL variant, there are plenty of folks out there who missed the 12(3) boat and would be willing to spend well over $1K on a nice example. A minty 8L-series FN C1A1 for instance, just like my own, might be worth much more these days to a new hard-core collector of Canadian military firearms than it is worth to me. I say "these days" only because my fully-functioning, Canadian-manufactured piece of our national military fabric is legally "useless" at present due to the ludicrous collusion amongst Federal bureaucrats that won't allow me to legally transport it - along with my Canadian Arsenals C1 SMG, TRW M-14, HK G3A4, FN Uzi, HK MP5, AR-180, Galil ARM, STEN, Russian AKMS, etc. What a load of completely useless excrement-based fertilizer.....
