Kingston Gun Show ideas...

Count me in. Son lives on base and we visit often. I prefer shows. I usually wind up finding something I've been looking for at the right price- brass, dies, moulds, bullets, primers etc. Sometimes even a gun!

If in the Kingston area I would highly recommend checking out the PWOR museum in the Armoury on Montreal Street. They have an excellant collection of military weapons and kit. Check their website for times and details.

I've been lurking on CGN for months now, but I'm finally coming out of the shadows. This needs all the support it can get. Count me in as one more happily paying customer :D

I also highly recommend the RMC Museum, which is located in Fort Fredrick - the Martello Tower on the College campus. It holds approximately half of the arms collection of General Porfirio Diaz, President of Mexico from 1876-1911. There are more than 400 guns in the collection, along with swords and other weapons, and the gun deck of the tower has been restored to its 1840's appearance. I spent a full three hours studying the collection, and it cost me five bucks!

gun show but with decent stuff. Not the usual 22 from the 50's and things like that. More tactical and relavent to todays world. I am sure the base would happy to have something like this.

I have to check on dates etc. I have a location for an auction, just have to work in the rest now.

A Gun Show. No need for an auction with the existing ones in Ontario, and with the CGN EE, there are better ways to buy and sell from the comfort of your home.

Speaking of the "comfort of your home", a Gun Show in Kingston would work well, because SKScanuck could pick me up at a time I have pre-determined with the beverage of my choice and drive me to and from the show. Very convenient!

I agree 100% a gun show with quality sporting stuff and lots of tactical candy would be awesome!

I would for sure attend an auction as well.
