So the thumb screws won't tighten down? I have never seen that before, and your unit does have thumb screws.

Yep it has the thumbscrews. But after about 10 shots it seems like the legs just slowly suck themselves back up. The thumb screws just don't hold. Especially if I put the bipod on anything centerfire, then it only takes the recoil of one shot to snap the legs back in.

Bummer... all of ours hold adjustment well.
