I should have said lock not delete...you are correct.

I wasn't aware that sponsors and industry experts had the power to decide what the rest of the CGN member should read, see, and comment on.

and I agree that we all need to move on here but almost all the threads here have already been deleted by the mods to erase the past few days. these things ( good and bad) need to be heard and discussed... how about we stop trying to erase it all?

Next AR I buy will be a NEA. I want to support a CDN company that takes risks to bring a product to market. I want them to succeed and bring more products out in the future.

Best of luck NEA!

Easy, easy there. Keep reading the rest of the thread (see post #85). You will see that Kevin later apologized to Dave for his post and explained that in his travel-weary state his frustration was perhaps misdirected.

Thank you for bring that to light, but now I question your motives.

Maybe you're a shill.....

:D

Farmboy, BBB, NEA, KevinB and AGW I would like to request that this train wreck of a thread be locked EDIT. As we are the only dealers/industry professionals who have posted here, if we all agree I'm sure it can be done.

I second the lock. Can-Down...because if it doesn't someone will just keep posting in here every few days...

...any thread can be locked/deleted if the OP requests it....just pointing that part out as a general comment...I think thats the case.

So the NEA dealer wants the thread that is damaging to NEA locked/deleted??

I completely disagree with this. Why don't we just ban ALL the members who post a negative comment about any of the manufacturers you deal with?? That way the newer uninformed members will never read about these negative posts or think twice about buying the products you carry!

All the Vendors above sell Brand 'X' AR's from $1200 to $3500.

Along comes a CDN Manufacturer with a $1000 AR......

Who has the most to lose?

To bad games were played, but in the end if NEA delivers in the coming months there won;t be any reason to buy from above vendors.

Hmmmm, maybe some people have issue with that.

Thank Christ people open their mouths around here.

Personally, I don't give a flying f**k what finish your KAC rifles have on them, or how cool they are, or which washed-up Magpul instructor is running which KAC upper.

I ask myself: "Self, does it work and is it made in Canada?" If the answer is yes, I happen to be in the market for one, and it works, I'll buy the damn thing.

This isn't the first time I've read something from you about how privileged Canadians should feel just to be able to hand you loads of money buy your rifles. I recall (and if so inclined, might spend all day tomorrow looking for it) a post you made a year or so ago about how demand was so high for your rifles and how you think we should be groveling at your feet because you sent a few up here.

You're a horrible ambassador (owner, partial owner, whatever) for KAC and you'll never see a dime from me.

And before you get all huffy and ban me, understand that this is not a personal attack. I don't deal with snot-nosed Americans (or former Canadians, or present Canadians for that matter) that think Canadians should just hand over money to them, just for the "privilege" of owning one of their products. This is the same reason I'll never buy anything from Larue, I don't give a s**t if he makes the "best of the best of the best" of anything. I'd rather duct-tape an ACOG to my rail than buy a Larue mount.

So the NEA dealer wants the thread that is damaging to NEA locked/deleted??

I would say this thread is far more damaging to Kevin B and KAC.

I know for sure I will never buy KAC as long as he is a representative of the company.

NEA has apologized for what they've done and said all they have need to say.

CSOR and JTF2 think the KAC RAS is ok for them :p

I never said that KAC makes a ####ty product and that I wouldn't buy anything from them because it was.

I did say I would never buy anything from them because, to me, it matters where my money goes. I want to support good, decent people; not some company that feels entitled to my money just because "JTF" runs their equipment.

BTW, if true, JTF probably picked the most reasonable rifle AT THE LOWEST PRICE that all companies offered.

You think I want to buy a #### rifle because JTF runs them? LOL.

I have clarified this already somewhere - USP was told he is difficult to work with because he was just plain rude in the coffee shop. he was only locked out after he demands compensation for his volunteer time while trying to look like a martyr.

This is not about this issue of shilling - it is about me not taking s**t from people who yell and go on angry burst at me, and then demand settlement using some labour law as "weapon". Anyways, enough from me on this. Sorry for the off tracking.

Can you post screen shots of USP's rudeness? Is the coffee shop a forum or like IM/chatbox for the Mods?

I see a lot of hate about NEA on CGN. I think everybody CAN buy what they want. It's weird and similar here un Québec, when someone compagny ou individual is having succes, there is a lot of people who's bashing them or their compagny. It look like if succes wasn't good and if you change the rules (1000$ Canadian AR) you are shoking everybody instead to be inovative.

No I'm not à shill..... I'm a big LMT ar15 fan and I don't own NEA AR. I don't think they got the best AR out there but it's an option for shooters on budget.

lemon would be an understatement on the POS they returned to the customer after they had supposedly serviced the BCG.

and yes...this is what NEA returned as "fixed"

Is that real ? it's a conspiracy against NEA ?
Was I see is worst than the worst Chinese #### I ever bought.
I am interested in NEA products but this is not a product it's scrap metal. WTF

As for the shilling well it's a business, SHello !. There is businesses who does it and there is businesses who lies.

well almost all of his last 100 posts are about NEA and how much he likes their product....

just teasing you runningfool :nest:

I've been busted! :D

I've just been trying to provide a bit of balance to the bashing since a lot of the negativity has come from those who haven't even seen or shot an NEA. I will freely admit I am biased, I am a proud Canadian who has a great Canadian made rifle.

In the long run, NEA doesn't need anyone to stick up for them, their rifles will speak for themselves once enough of them get out there on ranges across Canada...in the mean time, those of us with them should continue to share our experiences, both good and bad.

It is pretty simple.

People associated (loosely or otherwise) with Company A simply shouldn't be critiquing or commenting on Company B.

It's poor form, irrespective of how correct or justified the comments may be.

Promote your own products in your own forum in a transparent way, and leave the critique to the end users without a vested interest.

In the end the products will speak for themselves.
