Just got myself a Remington R1 and I was hoping to get opinions on what everyone thinks are the most reliable mags for it. It only came with 2 mags, which we all know is not enough!

I've got a couple Wilson combats, and they run flawlessly, that being said, I've never tried Chip McCormicks... note to self- If it ain't broke don't fix it. I'll stick with my Wilson Combats!;)

I have the Wilson's...I'm not impressed.. Drop an empty mag on a concrete floor and the follower shoots out about 3 times in 10... When I shoot a stage I try to drop the mags with rounds in them so the follower doesn't come out...

I was told these are the best mags and I ordered 8 of them without first trying one...kinda kicking myself now...

wilson combat 8 rounders make my Operator run like a top!..ive also heard good things about tripp cobras, but never tried them.. theres a nice review on both, google wilson combat vs tripp. :)

I had some Wilson 47D and sold all of them...had too many problems when dropped on ground.
now my best are Chip McCormick PowerMag stainless 8 rds....never had any hick-ups or malfunctions with CMC mags, fully recommended !

ACT MAGs made in Italy I found are the most reliable but I don't like the ugly floor plate.

I would say Wilson Combat too but loaded with 8 rounds they're almost impossible to seat with the slide forward.

I like the Chip McCormick 8 rd power mag bodies the best......too bad the followers are ####

I like USGI mags the most with the controlled feed lips, but they're hard to find and a little fragile
