You're right..... Need to employ those reading skills better, however... If they named they named the Vickers sling something else would it make that much of a difference? All I'm saying is, does it really matter who's name is on it? Or who endorses it?

Nbo it matters who invented it that's the reason his name is on it.
Its a good bit of kit because of the experience of the person. Who designed it.
Vickers products have become a "name" because of how they work not because he's "cool"

I was in TSE today not looking for anything particular and ended up buying a NUTAC 1/2 point sling.

Made in Canada (Didsbury, AB; to be exact).

It's basically the same as the Magpul MS3, the only major difference I can see is that some of the attachment hardware is different (but still pretty high quality).

I'm happy with it, for sure; if for no other reason than it's made in Canada by Canadians.

For whatever reason, they don't list it on their website, but TSE had a dozen or so in stock for $65.

Yah, and I hear he is FAT now.....obviously he knows nothing.

I just finished threading an Impact Weapons Mount-N-Slot through my Vickers sling.

So wtf do I need to put a old 2 point sling on my AR? It has a quad rail on it and this little slit by the buffer tube for a sling to go through. I would like qd as well.
