Hello all,

If anyone has some NP-29 mags around I'd appreciate some quick dimensions of it.

Just need the thickness and front to back measurement.

Got a project in mind and want to see of it's even worth pursuing.

Thanks a bunch,

Same as any other 1911 mag.

Well since I don't have an 1911 mags around that's not helpful ;) jk

Aren't the 9mm versions thinner than the 45ACP units? I don't remember seeing spacers on the sides of the 9mm 1911 mags I handled.

Or is there simply a ridge on both sides to centre the smaller round in the 45ACP mag?

Sorry to sound like a newbie :(

not sure if this will help you

Novaks 8 rd mag that is made for a full size 1911

Thickness = .540

Width = 1.370

Height = 4.970 at the tallest point of the magazine itself

Height of bullet at tallest point = 5.055

Angle of top lip = looks like 20 degrees

OK , sorry. 9mm mags have a groove pressed into the side to align the cases, and narrower feed lips, there is also an 1/8inch spacer plate at the back inside - usually spot welded in place. Otherwise the 1911 dimensions that our colleague has provided work.
