What's the smallest 5+ shot pistol that's only restricted?

Anyone know where to get a 106mm barrel for the P7M8? Mine is 105mm so PROHIB.

Take it to a gunsmith and get it re-verified. This was a common error when they were trying to ban as many guns as they could. There's a good chance the measurement was done improperly, it has to be done from the breech face with the slide forward, to the last rifled groove. There were lots of P7's that were stuck with prohib status because of that. If it's your only 12.6 buy another before you get it re-registered. It only needs to be 105.x to be non-prohib. A lot of technical genius types during the change over were removing the slide and dropping a caliper on the barrel (especially with the P7) which doesn't take into account the gap for the base of the cartridge.

The Sig P239 with the extended threaded barrel is fairly small.

Compared to the HKP7's, it's available as are parts.

Picked up a STI Ranger II in 9mm.
My shortest pistol I own.
4.15" bull barrel.

Smallest, restricted only pistol

From what I've seen, in a .22, it's the new Browning 1911 - .22

In a .45 or a 9mm, it's a Commander model, made by various, even Norinco.

In a revolver of a calibre greater than a .22, I'm not sure, but obviously it's going to anything longer than, what, 4.25 inches?

this little savage 1910 is both prohib and non. the one in .380 is restricted the one in .32 is prohinb

I beg to differ but all those little savages (with original barrels) have barrels under 4" (I can't remember exactly, but I believe it's 3 7/8" or there abouts)

Anyone have a HK P7? This is giving me a little interest here, I love HK's. Wondering how large the grip is compared to a full size duty pistol...

I have small hands and one of the reasons I consider my P7 (M8) so outstanding is that the grip actually fits my hand. If you have "average" to small hands, I think you'll find the fit of the P7 very good. The problem will be the handling. It's unlike any other self-loader in the way it is cocked. It's compact and very accurate. I like it, but there are many who do not. Best look at one if you can, before buying.

If you have large hands I'm sure it's not comfortable. I notice on the P30 compact it has a full length grip, except it's thinner. Something like that would be more comfortable for someone with large hands.
