I just bought a Kimber police Tac in 308 and now i'm stuck with the task of finding a suitable scope to stick on it any suggestions I was thinking maybe a Leupold Mark4 4.5-14X50 LR/T M1 :)

good scope what is your budget?

I run Nightforce,Leupold Mark 4, and a Falcon on my 22lr trainer

Just get a scope that is proper for you. No one can really tell you the exact scope that is good for you. You might like a certain time of crosshairs, or prefer different turrets, or can't afford a certain scope someone might suggest.

Low end Budget: Bushnell,Sightron

Med. end Budget: Nightforce,Leupold

High end budget: Schmidt & Bender

There are a few more scope manufacturers out there, but those listed above get the most attention........

My Choice depending on your budget would be Nightforce...............If you have deep pockets, go with the Schmidt & Bender PM-II series.....;)

That Leupold IIRC is what you get if you go with the full monte Kimber tac package.

Nice scope. I would look thru several name brands, pick the best one with target turrets, zero stop, turret lock, side parallex, biggest main tube with the most MOA adjustment and 50mm obj. lense or bigger and Mildot reticle.

I've got a Leupold and a couple of Nightforces. I half wish that I had gone with a 5.5-22x on my 308 as well as my 300WM. When I move North(er) I plan to pull the 3.5x off and put the 5.5x on as the 300 is going into storage. We'll see if I like it better. My Leupold is a 3.5-10x but it got moved from the 300WM (dumb idea from the start) to my SAN. Great scope on that rifle btu nto enough magnification for what I wanted to do with the 300WM.

S&B PMll !!!

A fine choice if you have deep enough pockets, another one in that price range that is worth considering this the Premier Heritage. If you are spending those types of dollars make sure you are getting the scope that YOU feel best meets your budget and requirnments.
