Beretta 92fs serial number?

Lol. That's possible but I called beretta this morning and they confirmed that if it's on the right side of the gun, it is the LCI. So that makes sense to me, just looks a bit odd IMO.

If it's on a slide it cant be a LCI tho. I mean how would it tell you if its loaded??

Thanks for the info Lugger. The pic that I posted, and the pic that you posted...aren't those basically in the same spot? If so then I think we have it figured out, but if not, then I have no idea what the mark could be on my 92FS. I should be able to pick it up Tues or Wed to be able to share pics.

Sorry it took so long, but apparently the BC firearms office was backed up. Just got my 92FS today, and the LCI is the red mark I saw. Looks the same as the pic you posted.
