Hello fellow members
Can anyone tell me where to find Triad cheekpad and or TIS sling in Canada?
Can get the above from Triad Tac but shipping on cheekpad alone is 27.25.
They only ship UPS.Seems pricey considering cheekpad is 35.00.
Thanks for your time.

i just ordered a TIS sling from TRIAD. I looked all over as well and coulndnt find any here. However I am positive that mine was shipped USPS. Shipping was still costly at over $20 as i recall.

You can get the cheekpad from Seal Action Gear on the Blackfoot in Calgary ,, not sure about the sling..I got mine from Sinclare Intn...

I have the triad stock pack and it is very nice, well worth the money even with expensive shipping Im pretty sure it was shipped USPS for roughly $16. Have you contacted them about shipping USPS?

Seals Action Gear sells the Blackhawk version which suck compared to the Eagle. Eagle no longer makes their stock pack and Triad make a version thats probably better than the Eagle because you can get holder for the cartridges on the inside of the pouch and he offers two different sizes.

The inside shell holders would be great for protecting your shells while crawling through the muck or when it is raining.............but for actual shooting I would prefer the shell loops on the outside for easier/quicker access to reload.........plus IMHO you would be disturbing your cheekweld & position trying to access and reload from the left side...........

I have had the Eagle stock pack/rest for a number of years and love it...........:D

Anyone know how useful these things are for cheek welds? Do they move around much, how do you keep them from sliding around given they strap on with velcro?

It works amazingly well. Mine does not move around as far as I can tell, using all of the spacer material it is the perfect height for me.

Good enough for me. I'm buying one! But if it doesn't work I'll blame you! :D Are you prepared to deal with the public shaming of having given bad advice to a stranger on the internet? Thin of the chil'drun
