Is the Fabrique Nationale MKIII 9mm pistol still being sold new in Canada?
Are they still available new?

.

Check over at Ellwood Epps (banner up top). Go to their website, Firearms, click NEW, click FN or is it Browning?

Good luck searching. I bought my BHP MkIII from them 2 years ago.

Cheers,
Barney

I believe the OP is looking for an actual FN marked/stamped MKIII Hi-Power and not the Browning version.

Here are some FN marked .40 S&W models with the SFS feature...

I wanted a 9mm as well so I wound up buying a new Browning version from Bashaw Sports for $800.

Yes i'm looking for the Fabrique Nationale MK III marked 9mm pistol with the traditional SA trigger not the SFS, and i think the one now sold in Canada are marked Browning.
Could someone confirm this?

I'm looking for a MK III with these markings :

as i wrote already : they re coming from FN with Browning name on it ....

and there is only a few chances you get one of those are there is indication about Portugal on it too ....

I think they market as Browning in North America, but in Europe as FN - maybe try checking a European dealer, and having one imported for you.

Yes they are easy to find with the Browning markings, i'm just looking for the Canadian importer who get them direct from Europe, they have FN's markings on them.
After searching the forum, i found out that a few CGnutter has them so they were at one time imported.

You can probably do like I did and e-mail or call a bunch of the dealers (some at the top of the page) that sell other FN products and wait months for a reply...only to give up and buy the Browning marked version. If you happen to be more successful than I was and happen to find some available...please let me know!

Already did that, i knew it wouldn't be easy, trying to find an importer who does import from Belgium, France or Switzerland.

AFAIK, I believe that FN models are no longer being imported, browning kinda forced them out. I'm guessing the the current batch of 40cal HP's are new old stock. I'd love to get an FN marked HP in 9mm but for now, I'm perfectly happy with my Browning MkIII.

you will not get a pistol imported from France for sure ...

Switzerland and Luxembourg maybe but there is new agreements between FN and resellers so i doubt they will export for an individual ....

for Belgium : their firearms laws wont help you really to get a pistol exported to Canada.
