The only thing worse than a crap scope is a crap spotting scope. Probably not what you want to hear.
Take the money you were going to spend on a spotting scope AND the money for your scope upgrade and buy a decent rifle scope.
I agree. At first I didn't listen to everyone and bought a crap scope. Endless fiddling and re-adjusting and I had to upgrade. It drove me nuts.
Save your money for a better scope that actually works.

I am really happy with my Redfield revolution 4-12x40
they are made by Leupold and are a great scope for the money , better than the Bushnell elite 3200 3-9x40 or Burris fullfield II 3-9x40 that I own.
