Pretty safe investment too.
Calling SKS lovers...
I'm planning on buying an SKS as my first gun, ever. Any suggestions or quick tips as to what to look for? preferences?
thanks in advance

And how exackly do you figure that? When bill C-68 became law, I lost about $ 20,000.00 in the value of my guns!!!!

Lol wow. Aside from some certain collectible/rare/historic firearms, I never understood why some people have multiples of the same gun in the same caliber....
I was considering buying an SKS (or maybe a crate of identical ones!)... I was just wondering how easy and/or finicky are they to clean/maintain? It wouldn't be my first gun, but it would be my first gun that isn't a super-simple direct blowback.
Nope it's called timing and secret funds. She's was on vacation![]()
I'd be content with a Soviet, Chinese, and Yugo SKS in the collection...
And maybe some beater to turn Tapco tacticool.
