Hey guys,

I just want to give a quick warning to those of you who shop over on FAC.

My buddy was looking to buy an Inglis hi-power and messaged the seller of this add shortly after it was posted:

The seller wanted EMT right away, and said "he would ship right away" and that was the first red flag. My buddy told him that he would not send payment until the transfer was started, and it saved him what would have probably been a huge hassle:

Luckily my friend was smarter than the scammer and no money was lost. I decided to post this so that other milsurp collectors remember to be suspicious when buying restricted milsurp pistols on FAC. It's strange the seller tried to do this sort of scam with a restricted WW2 Inglis. I'm sure this sketchbag will try to fool others also.

Edit: Moral of the story, stick with buying from members here on CGN in the EE from our members who have good feedback!

firearmscanada.com is a joke at best

This confirms it for me. You would think the scammer would have tried to sell like a K98 or something non-restricted. I noticed he's also selling a glock package that seems like it would be a more common scam than a WWII Inglis. I wonder what percentage of the other adds are bogus as well.

I've seen listings there, where if you type the gun name into google, you can see the pictures from where the person has copied the images. Makes it pretty easy to tell they don't really own it when they can't even scrape together original photos

Have a look at firearmscanada.com/ads/receivers-2
Talk about trouble waiting to happen.
In the parts section there is a 4" Colt barrel for sale - that is a prohibited device.
