But I shoot a Norc and a Para. Either or both are so crappy that they might melt in the rain LOL.

I am super stoked for my first match ever. However, I have never shot my AR since purchase and will likely be woefully inadequate . Hopefully one of you guys can help me zero my rifle in at 0730. I will provide coffee to said individual

But you did inspect, clean, and lubricate it, yes?

What type of sights are you using?

is there time before the match to adjust sights/plink ?
wouldn't mind putting a few rounds down range in the modified prone before starting

There is a zeroing at 25 yards usually and then a run through of the match without score. After lunch the match proper runs. You should be fine.

As long as you are safe you are adequate. No worries. Just remeber you zeroing at 25 yards. Bold adjustments will be requied to move you POA very far. You can also tweak then through out the practice if you thing you need to, before the match.
