This is true. We are nice to newbies but not so nice that we let you hold up the show
For the irons, IIRC a 25 yard zero should be achieved with the rear sight set at 300 yards and then lowered one notch. Then just adjust for windage.
Do you have a front sight adjustment tool? You may need this to adjust elevation once you set the rear. I'll check to make sure I have mine in my range bag and lots of guys have them too.
Alternatively we can just find a rear sight elevation setting that gets you hitting where you are aiming. You can set it up "correctly" later.
We will get you squared away and smiling by the end of the day.
