If your sighting in, please show up early.
Holding things up gets Tim's FU angry, not a good thing. Ever.

This is true. We are nice to newbies but not so nice that we let you hold up the show :D.

For the irons, IIRC a 25 yard zero should be achieved with the rear sight set at 300 yards and then lowered one notch. Then just adjust for windage.

Do you have a front sight adjustment tool? You may need this to adjust elevation once you set the rear. I'll check to make sure I have mine in my range bag and lots of guys have them too.

Alternatively we can just find a rear sight elevation setting that gets you hitting where you are aiming. You can set it up "correctly" later.

We will get you squared away and smiling by the end of the day.

If I get wet...will my #### fall off?

Bring lots and lots of rounds! Packing up my shooting cart right now. All of you know how much Timk loves those 'shopping carts' on the line! :nest:

Cheers,
Barney

It won't fall off, but it will hide like a scared turtle.:D

Don't have the tool, Plan B sounds good. I can get it dialed in at the range before the next match for sure. Danke shen sir.

I found my tool, in the grip compartment of my AR where I put it so I would always have it with me. Took me a LONG time to remember I put it such a logical place LOL. Given the time frame, working with the rear sight is probably the answer anyway. You can zero it properly when you get home.

Bring a small set of binos too if you can. That way you can check you impact after say a 3 round group and see where you need to go. If you wait till a cease fire you will only be able to shoot a couple of groups and that might not be enough for corrections.

Well if you want to go down those tracks I suppose we could ride that train for a while......but remember you started it.

You're just made cause I beat you too it. I didn't want you to have to strain yourself :D.

Anybody who would buy one of those backwards, funny lookingl Tavors can't be too bright. Just cause you can shoot it in the bush or hunt with it.....oh wait.....damn.....maybe you win there. Crap. ;)

Oh well, your trigger pull is still crappy...nah nah naha boo boo (Sorry, I've been paying with my kids and that seems to be a common phrase with the kool 4 yr olds this year)

Ladies and Gentleman, I just looked at tomorrow's forecast for this area. (Borden)..

They are now saying no rain until the afternoon.

Good news for most... To bad it won't help wash the stink off Bolivar though ;) :D

Apparently the weather was daunted by "Tim-FU"
