Barrel of a CSA 858 in .223

Is it chrome lined? I'm tempted to get one since its .223 and NR but I would prefer to have it chromed line and not worry about shooting surplus.

No, it's not chrome.

Not an issue given the general impossibility of finding surplus 5.56, let alone corrosive 5.56, which I've never seen.

I suppose there could be some corrosive surplus 5.56 from the east bloc countries made during the 70's or 80's but you won't find any for sale in Canada.
