What upgrades would you do on a 10/22? New stock, target barrel, trigger job, optic. Let me know what you think.

No link, but look into the trigger. That would be one of the first things I would address but It will depend on what your goin to use it for

Well I'd like to make it more accurate. But also I want to change out the really plain wood stock that it came with to something else.

The trigger is probably your biggest thing in terms of accuracy. The stock triggers are far to squishy for reliable accuracy. I'd do that first, and look into the volquartsen parts there really good.

+1 on a trigger job.... You'll be squeezing so hard you'll never be able to keep the sights on sight!

It's really simple actually, I just upgraded with a power custom hammer from hical.ca and polished it all all with the dremel, real light and smooth now :)

Just do one mod at a time lest you end up like some who's 10/22 will only shoot one particular type of ammo, but oh no, it's not the tweaking.....:p

Do you think the 10/22 target hammer kit from hical is any good? It says it will reduce the trigger pull to 2 and a half pounds.

Hical.ca for internals and other accessories
dlaskarms.com for barrels flash hiders and stocks

There are more but I've had great results with these two

Hey. I like to help... The auto bolt release is a great mod, I did mine myself. It's just more convenient. Also I just ordered a dlask 16.5" threaded barrel, I love it! Great quality! And I personally use a hogue overmold stock, also from dlask I love it!
