Hey guys,
Well chinese SKSs are a dime a dozen so didn't feel too bad modding it. With my limited budget, this is the closest I'll get to a ''tactical'' rifle for a while. This is the ultimate SKS for me.

Here's what I did:
Dremeled off the bayo bolt
Blued the bolt carrier
Tapco Stock
Tapco 5/20 mag
BC tactical scout mount
BRS 25 Red Dot
TS100 tech sight (back up)
Recoil Pad
Recoil buffer
cheapy but goodie front grip/bipod
CAA tactical cheek rest

Thanks for looking

yea but a lot funner than a 858

That is the whole point of all this. Everyone's version of fun and what is worth the money or not is different. I bet you are having lots of fun shooting that thing and that is all that counts. I think I am bringing one of my SKSes out tomorrow. Haven't shot it one in ages.

good except i wouldnt dremel the bayo lug , it would be impossible to replace should you change your mind or wanna sell it .

Very good if its what youre after.

My budget doesnt allow for extras on the sks.. plain is best for me.

Ammo is the most important part of fun when I hold an sks in my hands and theres a target near by.:)

Tru that! I must admit that I wanted a ''cool'' looking and feeling modern gun. Always a fan of ARs but cant afford one right now and dont have my RPAL. Not the smartest or most useful mods done to a SKS, but I wouldnt want one any other way. Thats just my choice though and thats what counts. And whatever purists say, the Tapco stock really is more confortable to shoot than the original midget wooden stock. No matter what, a pistol grip makes it way more ergonomic unless youre in a prone position...
