Extended mag for 17hmr savage 93r17 arrived

Hey, i cant find the old thread someone was asking in but a few of us ordered 10 round extended mags for the Savage 93R17, they work for 22MAG as well.

My pair came in, both work great... my only complaint is the pad where the first round sits is black, the factory mags use red.. so you can see at a glance that youre out and dont dryfire.

Have to count rounds a little better...

Ran a couple hundred rounds through and never had a problem.

they look pretty badass too. the 5 rounder doesnt stick out much at all, and the 10 rounder has a nice "i have bullets" look to it sticking out the bottom.

I use a Savage mako edition 17HMR....

pricey, but theyre made in america not china.... the company ships replacement parts on request for service.... and they seem to be good quality.

I got two of them a while ago. Feed lips were not the right angle at all. Needed lots of work to feed and even now they arnt great. One holts 10 rounds and one holds 9. Sometimes they still do the jack in the box as well. I would just buy the factory 5 rounds mags

call and/or email them. i bet the resolve the problem right away with replacements. Mine were fine.. 9 rounds each for a few cycles they say... didnt have a problem fitting the tenth in.

We are responsible to seek out customer service.. and since its a US company not some chinese job stealer, I imagine theyll take care of you.

Whatever I bent them to get them to work half a$$ed. Dont think they want them back now :D
 
u never know.
i emailed them and let them know they should use red plastic (like in their photo) for the base inside, so y ou can see when youre out of rounds... without counting. They sent me a polite thank you... never hurts to ask.

I need to do more shooting now that i have all this ammo :)
 
Nobody really cares anymore since Savage came out with their own 10 rounders... I have a dozen of them and have not had any issues at all after a couple thousand rounds through them.
